Default Shorthanded with a maniac.

Villain will cap preflop with damn near anything, bluff-checkraises, and all in all is as agro as it gets. Checkraising him is fun.

Hero...

First, I take it K9o isn't too sketchy against someone w/ 50% PFR? Second, what's our postflop plan against someone like this? I don't have a lot of experience with someone who fancies himself to be this tricky.

it's like a calling station in reverse. check/call to the river and hope you're hit more than he. It's gotta be +EV.

The way I see it you have two options:

1. Fold
2. Showdown

If you choose option 2 I don't see any value in doing anything other than getting there as cheaply as possible, especially if you don't make a pair.

Sounds like a plan. I made my backdoor flush this hand though so it didn't apply as much here, heh. Villain showed A4o.
