Playing pocket pairs out of position against one marginal overcard
Villian in this hand is 30/7 after 100 or so hands, BB is unknown.
I open with 99 in EP, villian 3bets in the HJ, BB calls 2, I call 1. Flop is J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] BB checks, I do what. -check and raise if bb folds or fold/call if bb calls -checkraise them both -bet and see a)if villian raises and b) how bb responds -check and fold. Who likes what and for what reason? |

Re: Playing pocket pairs out of position against one marginal overcard
SOP for me is to check/call all the way unless BB calls the turn bet. However, I do toss on a A/K turn.
