Default Wow, party- \"keep the bonus\"

I asked party to remove the pending bonus since it hurts my mgr and I won't clear it since I only play sngs. Now they're telling me I have to play XXX hands at cash game. It's like they're throwing away money just to annoy me (ok, that MGR is only worth like $25). You know what?? I might rollover that bonus just to teach them a lesson. Maybe they figure they can hurt my mgr and collect the bonus when I don't roll it over. Ba$tards...

Umm, from your Loc. it would appear you're a SNG player, so why not just play those?

pending bonuses don't affect your MGR, only cleared bonuses.

so keep playing your SNG's and just let the bonus expire, your rakeback will be the same.

What he said. And if you plan to play that many hands in cash games this month, remember that unless it is a really awful bonus, it will net you more money than rakeback, so the hit in MGR is worth it.

A bonus will never cause a net loss when it comes to bonus+rakeback, whether you complete it or not.

Ah cool, didn't know that.

"A bonus will never cause a net loss when it comes to bonus+rakeback, whether you complete it or not. "

It would if uncleared bonuses affected MGR. You would get 100 less MGR so miss out on $25 of rakeback.

To be pedantic, that is not necessarily true if there is a threshold involved.

But you get the bonus which is over 100% rakeback instead of 25% rakeback.

Playing a cash game to clear the bonus is -EV for me. Wouldn't make enough on top of the bonus for it to be worthwhile (compared to just playing sngs).
