river bluffs
Villain was tight, maybe around a 1.5 aggro.
Waste of money on the river? In general, how often, and in what spots, do you make river bluffs like this one? Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx Preflop: Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. 3 folds, Button calls, SB raises, Hero calls, Button calls. Re: river bluffs
i think your more likely to get a fold if you raise the flop here. I really dont see A high folding here.
Just out of interest, why didnt you raise this flop? |

Re: river bluffs
I don't like it...Villain knows that you could be betting a draw on the turn, or a draw that paired up, or a small pair, and enough of those either got counterfeited or didnt hit on the river for him to c/call here w/A high or even K high. I also probably raise this flop and hope to take it down with a turn bet if not 3-bet on the flop.
