standard play in BB??

Villain is pretty much a TAG but is it worth it trying to make a play at this pot somewhere?

PokerStars 2/4 Hold'em (5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is SB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG raises, 2 folds, Hero calls, 1 fold.

Flop: (5 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 3 BB

I raise preflop if he's a loose raiser otherwise I'm folding. I think you have to fold on the flop.

edit by loose raiser I mean on the loose side of TAG still

Thats plain awful. OP said hes a TAG. 3betting with a marginal hand, out of position against a TAG that has position on you is suicide.

OP - well played. I think you are WB an awful lot of the time here & the pot is too small to screw with.

Didn't see Villian was TAG...I still think a raise can be made PF. Raise or fold...calling is definitely wrong.

I think a preflop fold is awful too. TAG UTG raising can be from 77+, QJs+, A9s+, K10s+. Fishing the flop here is not a bad proposition.
