Keep 'em coming, kagame. The guys responding to you in this thread are wannabe pros who wish they were playing the stakes you are playing. That's pretty amazing and funny, posting and getting AA - then getting allin v. KK. I would freak out if that happened to me. I really enjoyed reading this post a lot.

Here's one I bet you will like.

I arrive at Commerce Casino after driving a few hours from SF. I go to the room and change into some sweet poker-playing attire then head downstairs.

I jump into a 10-20NL game and come in in the BB with a stack of 2000 or so. UTG opens for 50 or so. One caller maybe or maybe not and then folded to me. I peek and see AA. I don't remember the exact amounts, but I make it something like 150. He raises a bit, to like 350. I then make reraise and he instantly goes all-in for 1500 or so and I of course instantly call and flip over AA. He says "just my luck, third time that happened today" and flips over KK. First four cards were rags and then the river was a King. Holy cow, can you believe that? Talk about amazing. Anyway, we all thought that was pretty funny, especially being my first hand and all. Well, to tell you the truth, I didn't really think it was that funny.

Anyway, that reminds me of another hand. I had been getting garbage and folding for a long time. The guy on my right was a great player and very aggressive. Every time it was my small blind, he raised and I folded. Finally, a guy opens for 50, he raises to 150 and I peek and see AA. I raie to maybe 500 or so. I think I had a 3500 or so stack. Short stack limper w/ 400 calls then the 50 raiser thinks forever, shows a friend 99 and mucks. Then the button guy starts thinking and finally says "you found what you were waiting for didn't you?" and shows the guy next to him KK and mucks it. I flip over my hand and he is real happy. Then the shortstack flips over his hand - HE HAS AA as well!!!! Holy cow. And here's the really crazy part. The flop was K92 - both guys who mucked flopped sets!!!!! Wow. Talk about a funny and interesting hand!

Anyway, back to your hand.

How close did you come to deciding to not post and wait for the big blind? Can you imagine not posting? Wow. That would have been a huge loss. Of course, I guess you don't know what would have happened and maybe this would have happened in the big blind or something. Hmmm.... I guess if you didn't post, you never would have known about it anyway. Wow. Now that I think of it like that, it seems like you should pretty much always post since you have no idea what you missed if you don't. Man, this is really intense thinking about it like this. I wonder what the chances are of you posting and then getting AA and someone else getting KK. I bet it is not high, but maybe a math wizard can figure it out.

Another question. When you were allin, did you think you would get bad beat? That is sometimes a horrible feeling, especially if it comes true. Just imagine if that guy would have flopped a King. Wow, that would have been bad. I bet then you would have been like "Damn! I shouldn't have posted!" or something. Anyway, I guess that didn't happen, so that's cool.

Well, thanks again for that funny and interesting post. Welcome to the forum and keep the great posts coming!

PS: It is extra funny that you had $138 and the KK guy had $136. Man, just imagine if you only had $10 or something when that happened!!!! That would have been a real waste!
