No reads on anyone..just switched to empire. Would you play the river the same way I did?

Looks fine. You probably ran into AT or something that got lucky. Laugh at the poor fool and add to buddylist.

River is bet/fold. He's not raising with anything you can beat. (Edit: Scratch this. Some villains will play something like AJ this way.)

what do we think of a check/call w/o a read? it is a runner-runner gutshot to the straight. (unless, of course, he has JT or hit 2pair)

I tend to do a lot of check-calling in the heat of the moment, but I find that I end up missing a bunch of value bets and I'm pretty sure it's a leak.
