Re: Was THIS chip spewing?? Would YOU fold?
I think the big preflop raise is fine.
I would call or fold to the flop bet. You missed the flop, it looks like it may have hit your opponent, and he is betting into the reraiser. Raising with the idea of pushing the turn is aggressive and might work. You are representing an overpair, which is consistent with your preflop play. I like the push on the turn when your opponent checks. It's risky, but it may work. I would be somewhat concered that villain has been playing consistent for AJ. If he made traips, hre might check to you. He could have a middle pocket pair, a 9, or maybe a straight draw. As for raising with any 2 broadway cards or 2 suited cards, those are hands fish limp with. They are OK for steal raises, but I would rather raise with a pp or suited connector. If you are putting in loose raises, the situation is important. I would rather raise based on situation with junk than always raise broadway cards or suited cards. |

Re: Was THIS chip spewing?? Would YOU fold?
I dislike the big PF reraise. Why so large? What does it accomplish? I'd prefer something smaller here. Because you've been playing so laggy, this is a great spot to just sit back, hit a reasonably high quality hand and extract from it. I'd make a smaller reraise PF to inflate the pot somewhat but to leave it at a point where I thought it was likely that worse hands would call, something like up to 160.
Given that you've been super aggressive and your gigantic PF reraise was called, I think your postflop play is a little crazy. I'm guessing you got extremely lucky to spike a second J on the turn and that if just about any other card in the deck comes that turn bet gets called. |

Re: Was THIS chip spewing?? Would YOU fold?
I am not a fan of the big preflop raise, you are only getting called with strong pairs. Im pretty sure this guy had something like QQ and was weak tight enough to lay it down to the 2nd J hitting on the turn. Thats my 2 cents. AK is a great all in hand and could be used as a good raising hand if you have position on the flop. But if you dont hit you are vulnerable to anything and have to lay down to a big raise/reraise.

Re: Was THIS chip spewing?? Would YOU fold?
PF raise is kind of insane. Make it around 3x his raise.
