Default Boy is Jake Plummer bad

Chargers with 8-9 in the box and he can't hit anyone on a pass play? Brutal.

I'm a huge Raiders fan, so all I'm really rooting for are career injuries, but man has Denver blown chance after chance in this game.

If Plummer goes down with a theismann injury it is the worst thing for a Raiders fan. the broncos are bad with plummer, but if he gets hurt they could maybe go 3-12 or 2-14 which would be perfect. All Denver has to do is get a good quarterback and a real general manager. 2 good drafts and 2 or 3 more seasons they are good to go. With Plummer the broncos will never be any good. Last year was as good as they will be. 10-6 lose in the divisional playoffs. that is the ceiling I think. Plummer is the best thing for the other teams in the division. And the fact Denver blows most of their draft picks without a good personnel guy.

Why did they let Brian Griese go, again?

Oh, I forgot. He wasn't his dad.

Griese was awful. Remember the problems with him. Didn't he have a DUI? Weren't there some articles on his problems leading the team? I think it is very likely he had some personal problems that were affecting his work and the organization wasn't going to rely on him. He wasn't the answer at quarterback at that time. But alas, neither is the moran Jake Plummer.

Well, that and he sucked. Griese had no mobility, a weak arm and no leadership ability. Plummer is pretty mobile, has a decent passing arm and fair leadership. Unfortunately, he can be counted on for one or two amazingly boneheaded interceptions per game. On the whole, the Broncos are slightly better off with Plummer, but I don't think they'll ever get past the first or second round of the playoffs with him.
