I can assure you that Nazi humor is almost never funny.

Really? Might want to tell Mel Brooks.

[/ QUOTE ]
That would be why I said "almost". Hyperbole from Mel Brooks is completely acceptable. Springtime for Hitler is hilarious.

Goblin,

You and I are slowly finding out that many fellow 2+2ers lack any real sense of humor. They get their kicks from pointing out spelling errors and bashing politcally incorrect statements. It's a real shame. That being said, guys like you and I are the exception and I thought the whole Nazi chip thing was pretty goddamn funny. Don't let these cynical f*****s get you down.

Tea Bagger,

You a regular hiding behind a fassad (sp?) or are you new?

Nonetheless I appreciate the comments. I just found swastikas on poker chips (nice poker chips at that) to be funny. I understand the connotation wasn't of anti-sematic implications. While I can see where it might offend a small % of people, I really didn't think this thread would get this much attention.

Cheers Man

I'm jewish and I'm not offended. I don't think he meant any slur by it. I probably should be offended but I'm not as I don't think any kind of intolerance was intended.

John Bush said it best when he said "I don't intend to offend, I just offend with my intent."

You have no obligation to be offended just because you're Jewish. People can be offended because they think they're supposed to be, or they can try to see things for what they really are. If everything that on the surface appeared to be intolerant, we'd have no Archie Bunkers, no Al Bundys, no George Jeffersons, no Dave Chappelles... We'd all be forced to sit in our bedrooms all day with a blanket over our heads listening to Yanni on our IPODS just so somebody doesn't do something to piss someone else off.

Just for the record, Yanni pisses me off. He's a Kenny G clone and he needs to die

I am glad you are open minded enough to have a sense of humor about things.

I'm done with this rant. My blood pressure is way too high for this early in the morning.
