just checking is this standard?
Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx
Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG calls, 2 folds, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks. Flop: (4 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players) SB bets, Hero raises, UTG folds, Button calls, SB calls. SB is capable of betting any pair and a draw --> I usually raise to make him pay and to get rid of other players. OK? Button called, he has FD or A. Turn: (5 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players) SB bets, Hero calls, Button calls. River: (8 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players) SB checks, Hero checks, Button checks. edit: I don't see the point of betting this,. I they both were on a FD they won't call, right. If the button has the A he will surely call, maybe even raise? Final Pot: 8 BB |

Re: just checking is this standard?
I think you should post this in the HUSH forum first of all.
I generally just fold the flop to the bet. SB is leading out into 4 people, and you still have 3 people left to act behind you. I'd probably fold turn then as well and definately no point in betting this river. |

Re: just checking is this standard?
If you can trust your read, the raise is okay, but I'd be tempted to fold UI to the turn bet. (Although I'm amazed at how many people turn donk/raise nothing but a one-way draw.)

Re: just checking is this standard?
Seems SB put you on a flushdraw and since the turn wasn't a spade decided to keep betting his hit on the A. I'd fold to that turn bet, or raise again.

Re: just checking is this standard?
Raise on the flop can be OK if you think the SB is full of it but once you get a cold-caller I would fold the turn UI. Even if you are ahead here, which is not often, you will get drawn out on a lot. The pot is small, let it go.

Re: just checking is this standard?
Seems fine. Another line is to fold the flop.

Re: just checking is this standard?
Sb is capable of betting draws, but does he do it only on flop? (If he aware of equity, or just a donk "building a pot for when i hit my flush even heads up")
If he doesnt bet draws on turn i'm folding, And yeh no point betting river. Draws wont call, Aces wont fold, You may get a 9 to call and win a BB but hey may outkick you too. |

Preferably fold the flop. |

Re: just checking is this standard?
fold flop unless the other 2 players are exceptionally loose preflop and weak postflop
given that you raised the flop, fold turn |
