Default I need answers

I just started playing online poker last week. I deposited $100 into my account and right away started playing $10 max full NLHE ring games. After about 15 hours of play my account is now at $250 and I am thinking this is enough to make the move from $10 max to $25 max. (I'm playing on Paradise) I'm thinking that 10x the max buy in is a good rule of thumb. Am i right in thinking that or if do i need more. Also is the skill level in $10 max not even close to as god as $25 dollar max? Am i in for a rude awakening? Should i tighten up when i make the jump or should i just play my normal game. At what level does the play start to get more aggressive? I've read just about every poker book you can think of and at every table i have sat at online i like to think i have been the tightest and most aggresive when i come into the pot. Does this playing style work as well in $25 max?

p.s. I just got kicked out of my local casino for being underage that is why im starting to play online. So i wont be taking any money out of my account until im 18. I just want to run my bankroll up as high as i can by next August.

I say go for it and see how you do. Typically people say you should have 20 buy-ins for NL. For me 20 is enough, but 10 isn't. Your situation is different because you are not planning on moving up permanently (necessarily), but only want to see how you do. If you lose a couple buy-ins you can always drop back down.

I'm not sure where exactly the play gets better in online NL games. I see poor play all the way up to the 400 buy-in games which is as high as I've played.

I havent played at paradise but generally on all sites the play from 10 to 200$ is generally the same. You'll see people play a little tighter PF each time you move up and about the same postflop (horrible). if i were you id open up 1 table and play for a while and see how the feel is. moving up in a level without getting a feel for the game can hurt you bad if you multi table.

I was in the same boat just kept moving up and taking shots until I hit a huge downswing. They are inevitable. Sounds like you have been running good and playing well. Just take your time dominate the low limits cuz you have a lot of time. There is no rush, get 20-25 buyins and then you will be ready. Expierence is crucial, more important then books. There are in infinate amount of situations, as you practice you learn how to handle them better.
