Trop AC tournaments

Saturday morning Tropicana tournament in Atlantic City... Any good? Anyone know the expected turnout?

Any other options for weekend tournaments in AC?

Yes, very good. My favorite. Might be there this Saturday in fact. I haven't been since they changed the time (few weeks back) so I'm not sure if the turnout has changed, but it's always been high. Usually good for an 8k-10k first place.

I played in it this weekend. Only 60 players and 1st place of $4,800. The play was pretty horrendous (one woman called 15% of her chips pre-flop with K5o and then called another 20% on a flop of AJ4). I am not sure if it was the earlier start time or the holiday weekend that led to the low turnout. There were 100+ players the couple previous times I had played in this tourney.

Huh. They usually cancel it on holiday weekends.. I'm surprised it was on, this is probably the reason.
