Re: The Turn from Hell: Any callers?
[ QUOTE ]

Call or fold? Why? BTW, the converter has been messing my HHs up for a while, and never shows pot sizes ... any suggestions (apart from hand correcting as I tend to do)? Best, McMelchior (Johan) [/ QUOTE ] Correct me if I'm wrong...but it seems like you pretty much min raised the flop. Why? I would have pushed the flop. Even if he folds you still win a little more than 1/3 of what you had before the hand started, I think you can be happy with that. But with the flush/straight draw on the board, I don't see any way of "charging him more than he should pay" than pushing. If villian had top pair, you got unlucky, sorry man. |

Re: The Turn from Hell: Any callers?
i understand what you're saying about your flop raise a la FTOP, but i think "the random internet player" will often call your push with a naked Q, with a flush draw, and even sometimes with like JJ or TT.
i think you should just push the flop. on that turn, it looks as if you have enough chips where you can fold and still play poker. i would fold here. the only (somewhat reasonable) hands you're beating at this point are 88-JJ, maybe A7. You're behind any Q, any two clubs, any set (FH), and AA. And actually, you've called him tight, so I think we can eliminate 88-99 and A7. So it looks like you're ahead of squarely TT-JJ, and not much else. I dump it here. |
