Default Mini Steps on Party

Anyone play these? They seem like a great way to get a lot of SNG experience in and not risk much. I'm thinking of setting a $100 aside and start playing a bunch of the $6's at once and see how far I can go. The mini steps seem like a good deal...or am I missing something?

They play a little bit differently than regular SNGs because of the payout structure differences. There was a post about this the other day that I responded to here.

If you're gonna play the mini-steps, i would recommend starting at level 2. In level one, you need to come in first to advance, which means lots of variance. Level 2+ you just need to come in top 2.

I played the mini-steps for a little while, on the side, and only made it to level 3. I'm sure they're beatable tho, and payouts at the top are pretty nice for a $6 / $20 entry.
