Tiltblocker improved my game as much as ANYTHING

I've always been one of those idiots that constantly check how I'm doing during a session and although I tried not to let it affect my play I'm sure it did alot more than I knew.

Since I have been using tilt blocker I have been having almost all winning sessions and my losing sessions are very small. It keeps me focused on playing well.

Last night I was 4 tabling and I had taken some horrendous beats, the 4 biggest pots I saw all night (18 BB+) I was way ahead till the river card, so obviously I was bumming, I assumed I was way way down but much to my surprise at the end of my session (only about 500 hands) I was only down 8 BB.

And there is no greater feeling in the world than after a session is over thinking you did about break even and checking your results to see you are up 42 BB. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Summation: Use tilt blocker, makes you focus on your play not results, and you are usually pleasantly surprised at the end of your session.

All I focus on when using Tiltblovker is when to take my next peek at results, doesnt work very well for me...

What I do is pretent there's a solar eclipse happening and I never look at my stack.
