Re: Missed River raise?
Yes. UTG+1's bet is a mystery to be sure though... but there's not way he has 33, and anything else that beats you he would have gone nuts on the turn, no?

Re: Missed River raise?
No flushes. No straights that don't reraise the turn. No trips that don't either reraise the turn or fold the turn. No two pair that beat you.

Yes. UTG+1's bet is a mystery to be sure though... but there's not way he has 33, and anything else that beats you he would have gone nuts on the turn, no? [/ QUOTE ] I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss KJ for the nut straight. If he had 3-bet the turn, it would have been 2 bets back to MP2, which may have forced him out of the hand. He may have been going for overcalls in this situation, with Hero stealing his check-raise. I don't think KJ is the most likely hand, but I think you have to acknowledge that hand while making your decision on how to proceed on the river. I think the possibility of KJ or various sets turns the river into a raise-call situation instead of a raise-cap. Regardless, this river is a clear raise. |
