And be boring besides. I can't find a .50/1.00 game that isn't as tight as a tick and agressive besides.

I normally clear bonuses at that level and need to play a little less than double the raked hands required to clear. Now it looks like I'm going to need nearly 3 times requirement as many hands are being folded to a raise before the flop resulting in no rake.

I may just abandon the effort. I must swim where there is liquid...

I may as well donate my money to the Red Cross - I've never played 6-max

Then just clear it at 1/2. BW says the best rate for clearing is 1/2.

The Skins are actually easier to win pots on then Party. However, the pot size is a lot smaller then Party.

The Rocks are very easy to push off hands. Just gotta increase the bluffing. Which use to be noneexistant w/Party.

Soooo true...

The NL tables are a prime example.

Im up over 200BB on the micro tables using this principle alone (20% through my bonus).

Granted your bonus wont clear as fast, but if you can adjust your game properly you can actually increase your hourly rate.

Im starting to like the new tight/passive style of empire

I just finished it at 1/2 - it's so tight that it's excruciating

That was me if it was a 7 on the river that cracked you and you held KK.

¿passive?
I cannot get to that tables, Its been my worst two days, +$70 lost, I must be the top looser at everybody's PT stats , but with VPIP 19% and PFR 5.5.

What I've noticed is:
2 or 3 people see flop, and every flop is raised.
Then somebody bets the flop, and somebody raises.
I cant reraise with middle pair to win 4BB because may be opponent is on a flush draw or bluffing. But when I've reraised, he wasn't bluffing, and I got -$4 again. I'm planning to give up and get my bankroll for a TV or similar.

The games are too tough to enjoy. I can grind it out with the best of em, but it isn't much fun. Maybe it'll change, but the competition online, especially in the 2-4 and 3-6 games is very tough. With all the sharks swimming around looking for blood, it's hard for a noob to last more than 30 minutes before he's liberated from his bankroll. The good games (if you can find them) change to bad games very quickly.

I'm hoping for the no smoking initiative in Washington to pass in November so I can play the local B&M without getting cancer. The donks at the B&M are way more fun than the competition online.

I have 200 raked hands to go to reach 1000 and I'm up almost $200 playing $1/2 full and $25NL (with 90% of the profits from $1/2).

there's definitely still plenty of profitable donks if you stick to evenings and weekends. overall it's notably tougher than before, but still very beatable.
