You sure thats Annie on the right? She was that fat? I know Howard was a big guy but I havent heard anything about Annie.

Annie is surely pregnant in this picture.

In Matt Matros book he mentions how when he first meets Howard Lederer he is shocked because he remembers seeing Howard when Howard weighed a great deal more. For some reason Matt declines to tell the reader that Howard lost a great deal of weight through gastric bypass surgery.

I think Annie was pregnant at the time...I vaguely remember Norman Chad saying something on a WSOP episode about how she was almost the first woman to make the final table in the main event, she finished 10th, and she was 8 months pregnant. I'm not sure if that was 2000 or not.
