For the past few days I've been playing mainly $15/$30 and $20/$40. I've been running OK, but I really feel like I'm playing well, which is a feeling I hadn't felt in a while. It's been great mentally. Assuming I keep running at least "OK", I'll move back up in a couple weeks. I did scour my PT stats and discovered something disturbing that accounts for nearly all of that loss. My blind play is horrendous. BB: -.26/hand SB: -.13/hand

Played a few hundred hands just now and won about 800. Even hit a 3 outer against someone for like the first time in a month. That felt good. Brick has helped me out by agreeing to review some hands. Plus, I posted a few from tonight's session. Unfortuantely, I didn't have anything interesting from the blinds yet - pretty much just got dealt trash and folded to raises tonite or checked and folded the flop. I hope everyone will continue to help me out and respond to these posts as well. I'm going to be more of a poster and less of a lurker on this forum. Thanks to all.

uh, johnny, ... losing .26bbs from the bb is not bad...its GOOD!! that means that given a random hand you, on average, make .24bbs in the bb.
similarly, you automatically lose .25bbs from the sb (at 30/60) so the -.13, while not fantastic, is definately better than anything near -.25 and is GOOD once again. my bb ev is -.23 to -.26 depending on the limit. my sb ev is -.10 to -.13 depending on the limit. i consider those pretty normal numbers you are not spewing chips from your blinds. =Barron

Damn, I kind of wanted my blind numbers to be way off, so I have something to blame this downswing on, and so I have something I can "fix" and magically turn my winrate to positive 1.5.
