Has anyone had any problems with other sites that you use the same Neteller account on? If I want a new Neteller account for Party purposes, will it screw up my next deposit/withdrawl with Crypto sites or some casinos?

If I have outstanding balances in some Crypto sites (that I'm keeping in there because they're in GBP and I want to avoid currency conversion killing me), should I withdraw them first? IIRC, you can't reenter your Neteller account number when you withdraw from Cryptos (not sure about depositing). Also, I have money in some sportsbooks: Pinnacle, BetGameDay (VIP), Canbet, LVSB (Hollywood). Will I have any problems if I try to withdraw to a different Neteller account? Probably, I would think...

My current Neteller account is in CDN funds I asked them if they could switch it to US and they said no, just open a new account and contact us, we'll switch all your money and neteller points to the new account.

I tried to close mine and they wouldn't let me. What reason did you give for wanting to close your account?

i didnt really give one. what i did do was start a new account (same exact info, different email address, but all correct stuff). 10 minutes later neteller catches on and locks the old one, i call up, say "oh i thought i had closed it, my bad, what can we do to remedy this? i would like the old one closed for good, i understand the need for only one account, so i will just use the new one i just started". they even transferred my old balance to the new one, so that shows something about their attitude towards it.

Some major credit cards are beginning to decline transactions with online gaming websites. Neteller is mainly used as a way to transfer funds quite quickly from one poker room to another without always having to charge your credit card.

I went through this last night and thought it might be helpful to share my experience. I took the same angle as RunDownHouse and they seemed like they were going to merge everything for me. 10 minutes later I get a call and they said there was no way they could transfer the money from my old account to my new account. I took it to the supervisor level and he was steadfast about it - he said new controls in their system would not allow moving the money from the old account to the new account.

After some back and forth, I asked him if I could pull the money out of my old account, close it, and then call back and have my new one activated. He was fine with that.

I moved the balance to Stars, called back and they closed the old Neteller and activated the new one in 10 minute call. I was also allowed to use my old email address.

So, it looks like this works more easily if you don't have any balance sitting in your old Neteller.

if you should ever not want the IRS having access to your poker winnings information

some people, a 'friend' of mine even, have it setup so that neteller transactions-if they ever occur-are always debits from their accounts, never deposits. You can then even write off that money if you are creative.

Getting it out can be done to a foreign bank if you are VERY creative, or in cash with the neteller debit card

Ship it

That will work until the IRS determines you are being "creative". The you will have to prove the "truth" of your claims. The IRS doesn't have to prove it, you do. Tax court rules are not the same as criminal court rules. Beware.
