Default Pokertracker vs. PokerOffice

I was just about to register PT, as I stumbled upon a new software called PokerOffice.
One especially nice feature is the live tracking. So, are there any guys here who's tried both? What's the pros and cons? Since PO is only 20$ more expensive, I'm now confused on what to buy.

I have tried demoing both and here is my take. Pokertracker has more detailed reports and more info. However, pokeroffice gives you all of the basics, except notes which are on PP already. Pokertracker provides more sites, but PO says they are working on more. To me since I am lazy, Poker office wins out because of the live tracking, not having to download all of the hands is a huge time savings. To instaneously see all of the players at your table is awesome. I have seen a few minor bugs, but since the program is so new, hopeuflly these will be ironed out and more features added. Also, the potodds feature is very nice.

It seems like PO will crush PT in a matter of time.

2 questions.
1) Does PO handle multitabling or are you limited to only 1 table.
2) Does PO grab mucked showdown cards, or only ones that are displayed at the table?

Think that's a "No" to both but don't know from experience. What I do know is that there was a long thread on poker office generally on the Internet forum recently so do a search there and you should get all the answers you're looking for (along with a paranoid debate about how PO is going to be the end of online poker!)

It can only live track one table at a time. But you could still download hand histories from other games you are playing simultaneously. Here is a link to the answer from Pokeroffice's forum.

YOu can always tell when you've "made it" because someone will knock off your product.

These two are huge killers, and downloading the hand histories is easy enough if you know what you are doing (and you get more information). The only problem is the Party hand history bug, but that is not PT's fault.

(Though PT could make it easier by allowing you to view the HH file while trying to figure out the seat number - you can usually get it from the next hand on that table, or figure it out from the betting order. Right now I have to use Outlook Express' annoying search features to find the hand in question).

Agreed on all accounts. However, as in all my poker reasoning, if a better product/strategy/whatever does come along, I wouldn't hesitate to switch.
