Harrah's (which now owns the Horseshoe in Vegas) will be running one of the preliminary World Series of Poker tournaments from Jan 7th to Jan 18th, I believe). As for right around the holidays, I'm not sure but, you can bet your whole stack that the Borgata will be a nuthouse, so if your 1st game is either low-limit Stud or Omaha 8/B, don't even bother going there. Better luck at the Taj, though it, too, will be really busy, I'm sure.

have an offbeat question... ok so you go to ac or vegas for new years.... your playing poker lets say 10pm.. ok 11pm.. now midnite is rolling around.. does play stop for one minute or somethin so ya'all could look at the tv and see the damn ball drop? or fireworks outside.. to me it seems kinda dull to be stuck at a poker table or at a blackjack table right at 12:00:00am...............

is this just me?
