AJo on the button.....
15 30 online at Pacific 6 max.
Folded to cutoff who raises. He has raised some complete garbage in previous hands from early and late positions. He actually plays ok postflop. I find AJo on the button and 3-bet. Small blind who is loose passive preflop and loose aggressive postflop cold calls, and cutoff calls. Flop: J 7 3 rainbow. Checked to me I bet, small blind calls cutoff calls. Turn: 10 clubs, bringing two clubs on board. I bet again, small blind now check raises, cut off folds, and I call. River: A spades. Small blind checks, I bet small blind check raises again, I call. Re: AJo on the button.....
I probably do the same. The river check-raise does not fill one with hope (Your opponent may have let you "value bet" your rivered ace so he could trap you for another big bet), but I would call with top two and see if he has the set (or 8-9).

Re: AJo on the button.....
You're right, this is a set of something (10's most likely) OR 89 more often than not, but you just have to call as it COULD be a chop pot OR 10J.

Re: AJo on the button.....
Played perfectly. Nothing you could have done differently. I wouldn't be too suprised to see AT, A7, or JT here. I wouldn't 3 bet, though.

Re: AJo on the button.....
I really thought he had J10 here, but I flat called the river anyway. Anyway he showed J10o and I took it down.
