Checkin\' a draw
I put in one of my patented miniraises from 3 off the button with T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Only the small blind calls.
Flop K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Check check. Turn 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Check check. River Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Bet some money, fold. The point is that I am willing to give up my chance to steal it on the flop in order to have a disguised hand if I hit. Smart or dumb?

yah cool no one will put you on a huge hand until you raise a crapload to compensate for the fact that the pot does not exist. then they will fold.

You didn't make that very clear. But if you are implying that checking the flop and turn is correct then you are wrong.
