Blind steal gone horribly wrong
I have been getting taken to the cleaners lately on my blind steal attempts. Here is one from tonight:
UB 3/6 Kill. I am on the Button with J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Folded around to me and I raise into two players who have been playing tight while i have been seated. Only the BB calls. Flop: T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] he checks, i bet, he calls. Turn: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] he checks, i bet, he check-raises me, i fold. does this ruin my table image by folding when i am played back at? it is perfectly conceivable that he would have folded to my 2nd barrel but made trips. was this a bad spot for a steal? am i being stupid agonizing over this? thanks in advance... |

Re: Blind steal gone horribly wrong
Sometimes you try to steal and it does not work. I would have played the hand the same way.
