Default MVP sportsbook

Anyone ever tried to withdraw money from this place? I looked everywhere on their site for an option to withdraw but couldn't find it.

I did the 100% match bonus that was posted on here a couple of months ago. Was glad to come out ahead after the 6x wagering req. and 60 days activity. But now I can't find an option to withdraw my money! I emailed their "client services" and no response so far. Any help is appreciated.

Ugh.

I also tried to cash there this week. I sent an email, asking for a payout.

They responded promptly, saying that their security procedures dictate that I need to make this request by telephone.

I wrote back, explaining that I have poor hearing, and speaking on the phone with people thousands of miles away, with accents, turns into a very frustrating experience for all parties involved. Can we please do this via email or IM?

Nope, sorry. Gotta call. Rules are rules.

Sigh.

So I called. Fortunately, the connection and the accents were not problems.

Unfortunately, their ridiculous rules WERE a problem.

"You haven't met the bonus requirements."

"Yeah, I know, keep the bonus."

"But if you withdraw before the 60 days, you lose the bonus, and any winnings."

"What winnings? I'm stuck."

"But you had some winning bets. If we subtract all of those, you are down to zero."

You gotta be kidding me. No book in the world would do that to a player.

I tried to scalp some out, but the wrong sides kept winning, and now most of my money is in this account that I cannot withdraw from, and Christmas is coming.

6x rollover seems steep. i thought the 3x at bodog was rough, but that sounds reasonable compared to mvp... i came across a site recently that compared and contrasted several of the leading online sites, in terms of bonuses, payment options, customer service, yada yada but i can't find it now...

i will say - i'm not always happy with the odds i get at bodog, but the few times i've had to contact customer service, either by phone or email, i've gotten prompt, courteous, and helpful support, and that goes a long way in my book, esp. in this day and age.

Sorry to hear that man. I knew I was taking a chance signing up with this book, but the 100% match bonus seemed too good to pass up. C- rating at SBR can't be THAT bad, right? ;p I guess I am gonna have to call them up and see if I can cash out.

Do they have a tie-in with one of the [semi] major poker sites ?

I seem to recall they did have such an arrangement.

If they do, find a friend who has an account with the poker site (or have a friend create and fund an accout) and take a trip to the "dump".

If this isn't an option, contact MajorWager; he ought to be able to help.

How much are we talking about ? ( Ballpark: 500 . . . 1,000 . . . 2,000 . . . ?)

PM me if you need further assistance; I hate this sort of $hit.

If it makes you feel any better, SBR wouldn't have them as a "C" (or "C-") if they didn't pay; grades of this type usually indicate sleazy and deceitful methods (such as those you described re. your "winnings") - thieves usually get "Fs".

Let me know how it turns out - best wishes.

Yeah, I thought of dumping chips.

I've got about a dime in there (I was able scalp some out last night).

No one I know and trust already has an account there. If they were to open one, I'm sure they'd be under the same 60-day nonsense.

I don't trust anyone else with $1000 of my money.

(I won $1000 in a poker tourney today, so I'm not sweating the MVP money as much, and Christmas is back on track. )
