some B of A machines in the SF bay area give out a thou. Some Bank One machines in New Orleans give out a thou. the first Chase machine I tried in NY gave out $800.

Seriously, ask yourself how often you will need to go over your limit on your atm card on a daily basis?

If your planning a major purchase hit your bank up, or use your atm card right at the store.

The point of an atm card is convenience, not to have insstant access to all your cash at the push of a button.

I have epass as well as neteller and have always been pleased with it too. However you still will be limited by an individual atm's withdrawal limit, which means that if you want more you have to hit mulitple atm's and incur multiple fees in order to max your daily epass limit. Same with neteller. It's actually just easier to transfer poker profits to your normal checking account and use it's debit card which some banks will allow to have higher atm withdrawal limits than nonbank cards like the ones we're talking about here. Of course this would assume the OP doesn't have the usual hidden issue here.

Not sure about the OP, but for some people, Neteller ATM cards are a way to get access to their cash without it coming through the banks and leaving a paper trail. Less traceable in the event of an audit. In that case, it isn't for convenience. They would prefer to withdraw a large chunk of money once for a fee of $X rather than the same amount in several transactions for $X each time.

I'm not claimimg to be an expert but if you ever are unlucky enough to be autided, won't these withdrawls will leave a paper trail?

Won't they just look at your neteller account and see the money being withdrawn? They are going to want to know why there is a discrepancy in your neteller account.

You can't claim that you lost this money playing poker as they will look at your poker account and not see a deposit being made.

And are you really going to try and tell the auditor that you lost it playing live poker, but you always win online?

you go to foxwoods with 2k. you sit down in a 30/60 game and lose the money. you can either drive to your bank to get some more buyins or you can use your neteller card to just withdraw another 2k. oops! that doesnt work. instead from now on ill just carry around 6k wherever i go just in case.

if there are no atms with these limits its not a big deal, but quite a disappointment.
