Like I said I probably check the turn, the reason is he wont give you credit for being so strong with trip Qs. Once his flush hits he will want to keep you in the hand. He will probably bet 1/2 pot if you check. There it is an easy call and hope to fill up.

Either way I probably check turn, but sometimes I also bet 1/2 pot here. Just depends.

I do!!! Just this is a bad situation for that!!!

Think about it... He's opening a (fairly) wide range of hands. He has position. He's aggressive. It's a huge guessing game out of position with likely the best hand.

I dunno, people who trap me, (when I'm on the other end) are more likely to get trapped.

Plus, I play a highly aggressive blindsteal scenario (perhaps overly so) so my reraising range is wide(*well, fairly wide, meaning it's not just big hands at all), I get action from worse hands.

It's one thing if he open raises from CO and you're button, a flatcall there may be more optimal. here, it isnt. but to each his own, if I flat called here, I wouldn't make as much as if I reraised, and I htink I'd lose more. and thats what poker is about?

What are you saying "no way" to?

Checking the turn?

It was obviously the correct play here.

the large majority of players in the party 2k are going to bet at least 80% of the pot with a turned flush. esp a lower one.
