Default Possible?

I have just played 1/2 Limit 6max tables at Partypoker for 2 hours and have lost 137 dollars. I do not see my self as a losing player at all but I am wondering what the heck is going on. Is it possible to have that bad of a run of cards that quickly? I seem to be drawn out on every single turn and river. AA - can't win, KK can't win, QQ can't win, Flopped straight (had 6T with a 789 flop. Needless to say, villain had TJ). I don't believe I made costly enough errors that cost me 137 dollars nor do I think that I was on tilt that much. I used pot oddds the whole time and thought before each decision.

Is it me or variance?

Thanks,
Kevin

P.S. This is not another bad beat post, but a different one (I hope)

Yes, it's certainly possible that you made every decision correctly, yet lost $137. It's even possible that you made some bad decisions that, luckily, prevented you from losing even more.

My prescription: Go to Paradise and play crazy pineapple for play money. Try very hard for an hour or two to play perfectly. Then have a couple beers and watch TV for a while. Works for me.

I lost around the same amount today due to a run of bad cards. Even the best players can't dodge variance, its just part of the game.
