Default so my roof opened up and weeped

the roof in my kitchen sprung a leak.

the kitchen is a 1 floor addition to my row home.

people came to fix it, but they didnt fix it, they just looked at it for a while.

they were supposed to come today, but they didnt.

help, im running out of buckets and sanity.

next stop, overflowing toilet-ville.

go buy one of those kiddy pools. place it in the kitchen. Or create some sort of system that has the bucket draining to outside.

its actually not so bad now that its stopped raining, but i fear the wood in the ceiling is all rotten and could perhaps just fall apart.

hope they put some sort of support beam up or something like that...

Be thankful it's just a leak. After the deluge this week, My roof leaked through, into the crawlspace, through the tin ceiling, through the plaster ceiling under it, and down to the drop ceiling below that. It wasn't noticed until soaking wet tiles came crumbling down all over the room. Thankdfully it was in a spare bedroom used for storage.
