Gold Coast, Australia

I will be in Australia for most of October and hope to spend a week in the Gold Coast area. Any suggestions on which part of the Gold Coast I should stay.

Any recommendations on hotels, places to stay, dine, and activities would also be appreciated.

Lastly, anyone know if the casino in Sydney has any limit hold 'em?

Stay in Broadbeach which is a few km out from the main strip.

Broachbeach has its own strip with much better dining.

Cavill Ave is more for bars and clubs.

Sydney Casino has plenty of Limit Hold em
