I always tip $1/pot won unless its just a blind winner.
Ive tipped $2 only a handfull of times.. both were huge pots for $3/$6

One thing I always wondered is how do you tip in a $5/10 game or lager where you dont have $1 chips... ask for change? meh

Buy a rack of whites just for tips. What are the blinds in $5-$10?

I might tip $2 for a $100 pot in a 1/2 NL game... I used to tip more, but it seems to me the more you play in a B&M the less the pot size influences your tipping. Now I'm almost always $1 for a pot that sees a flop, or any preflop action I snap off, and a couple bucks at the end of a down for good dealers.

bad dealers i tip $0 per pot

most dealers i top $1 per pot unless it's small.

there are 2 exceptional dealers right now at the B who I tip $2. Occaisonally I deviate from this if i have a very good reason, like i just sat down in a vacant seat despite being at the end of a very long list and the dealer does not call the floor.

or if he deals aces to me off the bottom of the deck.

these guys are just trying to make a living....you're either doing the same or just having fun.....if you knew a couple extra chips here and there would make them a lot happier, why not do it? I'd hate to see how you tip at a restaurant with a 4.99 Breakfast Special....

Thanks for the 30bb pot, here's a $0 tip.

Most dealers get $0 tips from me.
