Default Too weak with 88 in blind battle?

Villain is a little loose and fairly aggressive. I wanted to get to showdown. Eh?

Edit: I'm betting most rivers, but not the A or K, I think.

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
4 folds, SB raises, Hero 3-bets, SB calls.

Flop: (6 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls.

Turn: (4 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.

River: (4 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: 4 BB

Looks fine to me. If I bet, it's on the brick turn. Definitely agree with letting an A or K check through.

I bet the turn because if he was going to be tricky, I think he'd do it on the flop. I think you're ahead, and you've got decent outs if behind.

I'm betting that turn as he could've easily made a very loose peel on the flop (Gutshots, overs, OESD). Even if we get check-raised we can still call with our OESD.

Why check the turn if you're planning on betting the river if an A or K doesn't come?

It's pretty huge here. Most single broadways with kickers above 5 type huge.

Plus all the usual raising hands, of course.
