Can I change Absolute Poker's graphics?

It is hideous, is there any way to make the graphics a little less loud, maybe something like pokermods?

From the site, it looks like AP skins only change the background image? Anyone know if that's true? Wouldn't really help much, the entire interface was ugly IIRC.
