I just called the flop and turn hoping for overcalls, and hoping other players would make hands.

I probably check/raise this flop. If the button might not bet then I like the bet. On the turn, you need to raise IMO. Anyone with a good dead draw is calling all the way. You make tons of money when people call you with a OESD or a big [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. So get the money in when they are drawing dead, and then hope they hit so you get an even bigger reward on the river.
