Has online poker gotten tougher to beat in the past year?

Anyway, I voted yes, but not incredibly so.

my pt stats show that it has gotten much tougher (lower VPIPs, pot size, higher PFR%)...oh well

what bout live games?
you think it's much easier or harder? i wish i played online poker a lot sooner or tried to get better way before...during the peak age of the boom

I haven't played live since July I think
I noticed no change previous to that (I started playing 2 years ago)
Definitely enough donks to make most live 20/40 games +++ev

One of my old roommates told me he ventured to the 5/10 at a local casino a few weeks back and there were regularly 5+ players seeing the flop and 3+ at river time. He also said one hand was folded to the blinds in the 6 hours he played.

All looks good there, but only anecdotal evidence.

I have been playing since the week after partypoker opened (used to play at work/ a nice double dip!). It was great then for a long time, then it became tight and I stopped playing for a little while until I joined party poker. That, too became tight so I just played sng's. Then w/ the boom of poker the action became good for a little while again until the rocks caught on....I guess what my long winded post is saying is that it has gotten tougher, but it's cyclical too. Other games are good. 7 stud games are great, but a lot of limit hold 'em games aren't too great.
