My only problem with what they've done is that this "15 day rule" was not revealed until after people deposited their money and started to play.

I'm not a whore, I play 2 to 3 tables of NL100, 90% of them at Empire. I'm on the edge of leaving.

I am basically cool with Empire banning people who cost them money, ...

[/ QUOTE ]

As you accurately say, they can do as they want.

The logical thing for Empire to have done instead of banning customers, and installing this "15 day rule", is to simply eliminate the chance of them losing money on a bonus offer.

Shortening the time to clear the bonus does not do this.
Denying the bonus to anyone that has made a withdrawel lately doesn't do it.

Raising the hand requirement (15x) does.
Possibly a staggered hand requirement.
Something like:
15x at $1-$2 or less. 30 days to play off.
10x at $2-$4 or $#-$6.
7x at $5-$10 or higher.

My average MGR since January 2005 has been $4200 and Empire is denying me this bonus. I am clearly not a whore...they are clearly alienating someone they say they value. I've appealed to their sensibility, claiming bonuses are supposed to be for people like me, but I'm not too hopeful. Rant over.

granted, i'm not on here as much as i used to be, but i have completely whiffed when it comes to finding anywhere on empire where it states you can't get a bonus if you withdraw 15 days before a bonus hits. in fact, right on the bonus page for the JUNEFEVER, copied from the terms and conditions off the pop up that tells you about the bonus, it says this:

If you cash out any amount from your EmpirePoker.com account during the Bonus Period, but prior to making a qualifying deposit, you are ineligible for the deposit bonus.

note there is nothing about 15 days anywhere.

cheers!

My bonus staus still shows "ELAPSED", and it was 19 days since my last withdrawl until yesterday. My e-mails to Support, cashier and VIP (even though I am not a VIP) all assured me the situation would be rectfied within 24 hours. Good thing I'm not holding my breath...

The fact that Empire is violating it's own announced conditions is one of the thing that's pissing off people like me.

I'm a bit confused.
Is the restriction:
No bonus if you withdrew within 15 days before deposit?
or
No bonus if you withdraw within 15 days after your deposit? (as some have suggested for EuroBet)
or
Something else?

you cannot get the bonus if you withdrew in the past 15 days prior to depositing for the bonus. christ you cant even be a winning player and like to withdraw your money every now and then. is this the end of party's dominance?

2 days after reload - no answer. They didn't send even a formal letter of concern. We are nothing to Empire Customer Service!
