Let's follow up on hand one as an interesting decision arises on the river too.

Well, at this point, I like your chances of being best better than I did on the flop.

If there's a value bet here though (and perhaps there is), then it's the kind of value bet I sometimes miss, because I wouldn't always bet here.

After the sporadic shows of aggression during the hand, there is some chance you'll get called by a middle pair hand that hung around on the flop and turn, hoping to improve. You also might get called by an optimistically played lower pocket pair. A flush draw might also call, if by some chance it caught a pair on the turn or river.

I'm a bit out of touch with 2/4 right now, but at 3/6 I think what'll happen a lot of the time is that you'll bet and both of your opponents will fold. And then sometimes you'll bet and get called by a weak suited (or sometimes unsuited) ace. And you'll get checkraised on occasion too -- by hands like A3 and 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] or even just AT maybe, but I don't usually call the checkraise and find out. When I do, though (after, say, BB folds and MP1 checkraises), that's what I tend to see, although on occasion it's something like 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] instead.
