general advice on limits
Folks, here is my query:
I am an 18 year old who has been playing online at pacific poker for about 6 months, i had the fortune to pick up 10 free dollars and have been building it with some difficulty over the last months. I play exclusively tournaments, up until now. I would like to quit playing tournaments, just to try out buy-in. I have some questions concerning this. What limit should I start at if my balance right now is at 50 dollars? What books should i read (I have read TJ and McEvoy's tournament books and THE TAO OF POKER) but am looking for a more buy-in oriented book to read. any advice at all is very welcome as i am fairly new to the game Thank you for your time Ben Harder |

Re: general advice on limits
If it existed, theoretically you should be playing .08/.16 for the size of your bankroll. Maybe .10/.20. You need to read SSH ASAP. that will get you in a mode to easily beat games at this level and move up quickly. GL

Re: general advice on limits
Hey,
if i were you id get SSH, read it, sign up at party poker or one of the skins, make sure i get the 100 $ bonus and play .5/1$ limit. The bonus will give you about 8$ per hour per table. |

Re: general advice on limits
I never understand why beginners don't go to the beginner's forum. It would seem that should be the obvious thing to do.
