I raise preflop, but the river is definitely a check.

correct to call a river bet from MP1? Pot is very small, i assume I would get shown a pair of Jacks.

I would have bet the turn, and folded to a raise.

It is reaonable that against random garbage you could have the best hand. It is also reaonable that someone may fold a small jack.

With this crowd you are unlikely to get raised, and if/when you get called you have a redraw.

check/fold on river. With rake and a single better, the pot gives you ~3:1. In my mind, that is too much risk for too little reward. If there is a bet and another caller, muck instantly. No way to overcall with this.

If you win a free showdown, hell yea, but I don't think this is the time to valuebet as I doubt worse hands will call you. I have little hope of your hand being the best and/or the opponents folding better hands. This is a time when the pot is small and your play should adjust for it.

I would've bet the turn. You might be ahead. I doubt your opponents will raise you giving a check/call line to the river, unless it gives you trips or a straight. If they do raise your turn bet, muck and live to kill these guys in another hand.

I don't like a raise PF here. YOu have the worst postion and a very marginal hand. I agree that the river must be a check.

You have a VERY good hand vs. three players who are playing ~1/2 of their hands and one that plays well in a "bloated" pot. This raise should definitely show a profit.

Against tighter players I would probably bet the turn. It doesn't hurt bad if you get called.
