Default Bluffing and bluffers

One of my weaknesses (also strengths!!!) is people who I perceive are trying to bluff. I call them often.

Bluffing in play money ring games is rife of course but how much does it happen in tournament play (I like to play the Planet Freerolls) and can anybody give me some tips on how to spot bluffing especially in the early stages of the tourney?

You don't need to spot them early. They usually get knocked out, just play tight and wait for the real game.

Otherwise, watch for anyone betting out >3 times a circuit.

Don't bluff in freerolls. Seriously, so many calling stations and players who will raise you with K7. If you want to bluff, try to last long enough to make into or near the money. Play typically gets better here, and you can try some moves.

When I started low buy-in SnGs and MTTs, I never bluffed until about 1 away from bubble (SnG) or 20 away (MTT).

In higher buy-in, bluffing becomes pretty important, but not so common that someone is bluffing every hand. I consider blind stealing with a hand like T6s to be a semi-bluff.
