This is ridiculous. You can call the turn and fold the river if you expect him to check to you with worse hands.

does this require us check behind the river or bet it for value and expect to see a thre of a kind?

I fold river, fold turn also. As far as flop, depends on player. Does he give up on turn a lot.

Anyway I like the flop raise. I mix that in with calling on flop and raise any weak turn bet/check. However, when you raise flop, he calls your raise, then bets turn when flush hits, you're behind. Eith he has flush, or big hand he wants to stick in there with.
