Somewhat frequent situation
It doesnt happen everyday, but when you play a lot like most of us do, once every week or two is not uncommon.
How do you proceed when you flop a set on a monotone (all 1 suit) flop? Scenario: 1)Top set 1st to act multi way pot 2)Top set MP, multi way pot checked to you 3)Top set MP, multi way pot BB pots folded to you 4)Top set On the button, multi way pot BB pots 2 callers to you 5)Top set On the button, multi way pot BB pots, next guy min-raises to you 6)Middle or Bottom set 1st to act multi way pot 7)Middle or Bottom set MP, multi way pot checked to you 8)Middle or Bottom set MP, multi way pot BB pots folded to you 9)Middle or Bottom set On the button, multi way pot BB pots 2 callers to you 10)Middle or Bottom set On the button, multi way pot BB pots, next guy min-raises to you Assume limped pf 5 to the flop, 5-10 NL everyone has $1000 |

Re: Somewhat frequent situation
i bet
i bet i call or raise, how multiway are we talking? i raise i call i bet i bet i call or raise depending on the type of player he is i raise, but this matters a little more on the type of monotone board, like if it's j t 4 and i have 44 im feeling great about my bottom set, if they flopped it there's a nice overlay, and realistically even though 2 people have cold called a blind's lead at a monotone board im not always behind here. plus, boards like that two pair could be in or pair + nut card (Ajo for limped pot) so i really dont mind getting all in atall depends on what the minraise means |
