Default Gettin funky. Hate it or Love it?

I never try to mess around too much but this seemed like a good spot to do it. Villian is a TAG 28/19/2.1

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is SB with 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB 3-bets</font>, Hero calls.

Flop: (6 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">BB bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB 3-bets</font>, Hero calls.

Turn: (6 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>

I think once you decide to call the turn you have to try something like this. But I'm not thrilled with the call down - I think it depends a lot on how Villain perceives you.

Yeah the turn is the part I hate the worst about the hand. Sometimes, I think that I should have just check/folded the turn. My logic was that Villian is a TAG and probably realized I didn't need a whole lot to c/r the flop so he might have been playing back at me and I decided to get to showdown.

This is overdoing it.

Honestly, any pair on the board and any heart beats you, letalone any pocket pair above 3s.

It also doesn't seem like you have a really, really solid read on villain. I would check/fold the turn unless I had an incredible read that villain loves to play back at me.

I think you're just spewing chips here. The flop c/r seems fine, but when he 3-bets and bets out the turn even when the flush draw hits, I really think you're toast. Is he the type of player to 3-bet on the flop for a free turn card or does it mean a legit overpair/ten. FWIW, after your c/r and his flop 3-bet, I'd call and reevaluate on the turn. If he bets here I most likely fold unless another rag card hits such as a low non-diamond or a 4 in which case I'd call down.

If you want to get tricky vs. a TAG here, I think there's a much better line to take for the same chip spewage. Smooth call is auto flop bet, and c/r his turn bet when the flush hits. With the flush draw out he can't 3-bet without a very strong hand. The river action would vary between check/call or bet/fold depending on the card that hits. In this case I'd follow up with a bet via Clarkmeister and hope for a fold.
