Default Live short handed play?

Are there any casinos that offer short handed play like online? It's taking over online and it seems long handed play is dying out.

I think the short attention span and instant need for gratification of most new players is what's causing the trend online. I don't expect it to spread to B&M casinos for several reasons, one of which is you can fit more people in a room with 10 handed tables than you can with 6 handed.

I dont think there is a room that is intentionally spreading a short handed game for obvious reasons.

But if you go during the late night and early morning hours you can often find short handed games running that were full hours before. If the room is large enough you can easily table change to stay in a short game if you are willing to change limits.

This is an inovation of online play, where you don't have to allocate physical tables and dealers. Short handed games occur unintentionally when things aren't busy.

The Mirage here in Vegas tried to bring in 6max tables. They had 4 or 5 of them. Well, needless to say, they have only 1 left and its a training/educational table only now.
