Default Politics and Music

I'm so angry right now about what is happening in my country that the only music I can listen to is Rage Against the Machine and Against Me!

What are you guys listening to today?

Go to a psychiatrist and work on your stinking thinking. You have no reason to be so angry. You have let the media and the spinmeisters delude you.

I m not talking about perfection, but things are going good considering the alternatives. We have grown out of the Clinton recession of 5 years ago for example.

I suppose you believe that 9/11 was all planned in the less than 8 months that Bush was in office at the time. The Clinton presidency was like a cancer before it gets diagnosed - you feel fine while you rot away inside.

The economy tanked 10 months before he left office and terrorism hit 8 months after he left office. Boy did that Clinton cancer ever hit us hard.

awesome, yet another poster who has read a couple of Sean Hannity books and now thinks Clinton is the anti-christ. Get over it, we were better off under Clinton.

Terrorists hit about two months after GWB got a memo saying "Osama Bin Laden determined to attack US", and did nothing about it. Four years later, Bin Laden has not been caught, and the US is occupying a country that had nothing to do with 9/11 and presented no threat to the United States.

Recessions would happen, they are not in a President's immediate control. What is in a President's control is how it is dealt with. GWB opted for upper-level tax cuts, which has not worked before, and did not work now either. While the recession is not GWB's fault, I would say that it lasting as long as it did WAS.
