Did you try checking any of the overlays in Google Earth? Some of them have links to info about different sites. It's possible that someone has posted info about that place.

How do I do that? When I go to Add-Image Overlay, it seems to want information from me, instead of giving me information others have provided...

My first thought was Dubai.

I scanned Dubai coastline for ages a few months ago, couldn't even spot the Burj Al Arab, let alone the new 'world' islands they are building.

If anyone finds them, hook me up.

In the lower left corner, under Layers, check the boxes that say National Geographic Magazine, Keyhole Community BBS, and User-Supplied collections. This will bring up markers for a lot of stuff. Sometimes it is way too much, so you can uncheck them to remove all the clutter once you've found what you want.

I found the thing you posted, and there is a placemark on it, but however it is not written in English, so I still can't help you there.

Hopefully this makes sense

Thanks, that's a great feature. If you click on the link that guy provides, you'll see he calls it the "green island". A quick Google search reveals this.

Rhone.
