Default AK fold on flop from bb

Is this a routine fold? Should I have reraised preflop?

generally speaking... unless you have a specific reason not to, then it's pretty much standard.

especially at the party 2/4 tables.

As for the flop play - you're getting about 6-1 back to you, but you would be sick to get 3 bet or capped, and you don't even know if your aces or kings are solid outs here, so yes, you fold.

This is the problem with not 3-betting preflop. Being the pfr, you know he's probably going to come out betting, and there's no reason to assume you're behind. If you 3-bet preflop and bet out on the flop he might fold or he might raise. Either way, you'll know where you're at after the flop.
