Default Just trying to make sure I read this right...J9 UTG

OK, I'm sitting on a $25 NL PP table, and dude flops 2 pair, J9. He's sitting UTG, and later brags about it's power, especially since it's "sooted." I exclaim that that's a horrible hand to play, especially UTG. I just wanted to make sure I read this correctly, and that this guy is a complete moron? He was being serious, without a hint of sarcasm.

J9s UTG is a definite loser in 99.9% of NL games. I know it's hard, and I struggle with this myself, but try not to educate the weaker players. Him playing J9s UTG puts money in your pocket in the long run, why would you want him to stop?

Bite your tongue, curse your luck, and tell him nh. Positive reinforcement
